Beach Family,

Happy New Year!  2011 ended on a good note at school this year.  The staff was able to see first hand the generosity of the community in which we live.  At a time when so many struggle, those that have anything to share did so.  Parents, grandparents, community members brought in cash, gifts and offerings of help, all anonymously.  This is a wonderful school community.

The holiday break was as long as it has ever been; hopefully a time for families to reconnect and children to enjoy using their reading, math and writing skills for "real world" application.

2012 is a chance for all of us to make new resolutions to improve.  Best wishes to you and yours!
