Sportsmanship GuidelinesThe Lakes 8 Activities Conference has developed guidelines for our schools to follow to ensure the good sportsmanship in conference competition. These guidelines are not all-inclusive but should give schools a good idea as to what is and what is not acceptable. The Administrators in the Lakes 8 Activities Conference encourage energetic and supportive student groups in the stands, but we also have a duty to ensure that what is being done is appropriate. We hope that fans will be loud and have a great time supporting their team in a positive manner--while recognizing that the real contest is the competition on the court or the field, not in the stands.
